About...

raghav_headshot.gif Hailing from Toronto, Canada movies have always been a big party in my life. I currently work as a Junior Financial Analyst for a medical supply company called Becton Dickinson but went to Carleton University in Ottawa for Mass Communications and was able to use the knowledge and skill gained from my education and work for the role of PR in the Cannes 2008 program of Real Ideas Studio. While there I was the PR and producer for Team Mosaic where we made a short documentary that was screened titled ‘100 Mountains’. I then rejoined the Real Ideas program this past year at Slamdance as a PR rep for the program as well as director/producer for Team 7’s documentary ‘8’. Film was always a secret passion as my university career but have continuously learned and tried to gain more experience within my personal filmmaking efforts as I have dipped my feet in many elements of film including producing, writing, editing and now directing.
